Columbus Recreation & Parks Department Lunch Program

Their summer lunch program provides free lunches throughout Columbus. Kids ages 1 to 18 can call to find the summer food site closest to them. Some people with disabilities age 19 to 21 are also eligible. Kids can stop by the open sites and get a free breakfast or lunch June through August.

Ohio Department of Education School Meal Programs

Their website offers a lot of information about free and reduced price meals and the National School Lunch Program. It also has information about the fresh fruit and vegetable program, the after school snack program, the school breakfast program and the free and reduced price school meals application.

Ohio Department of Education Summer Food Service Program

All children ages 1 through 18 are eligible to receive free meals during the summer months at participating program sites. Individuals ages 19 through 21 who have been identified as having mental or physical disabilities and are following Indivualized Education Programs (IEPs) through their current enrollment in educational programs also are eligible for free summer meals. U.S. Department of Agriculture, Food & Nutrition Services

The National School Lunch Program operates in schools and child care institutions. It provides nutritionally balanced, low-cost or free lunches to children each school day. Their website has information about how to apply and income requirements. They also help schools serve meals through their after school snack programs, breakfast programs and summer food programs.
